Shout Out on West Chester East's Senior Night

I had an awesome night watching Phillip Laborde play in a 12-9 comeback win against a Downingtown West last night. Phillip picked up a stick for the first time in 9th grade at a lesson with us, and has worked his tail off in the 3+ years since to make up for a late start. Watching him play so well on Senior Night was so much fun, and there isn’t a guy out there who deserves it as much as Phillip! On Day 1, Phillip said his dream was to play club ball at LSU in college, and all of his hard work in the cage and the classroom has made that dream come true!

Everyone has their own path, be that D1, D3, Club or just a fun HS career and lasting relationships. Phillip set a goal, worked through tons of adversity, never made excuses and reached it. Watching him out there on Senior Night, I am thankful to be part of that journey!
