About Dave
Having spent the past 20 years playing and coaching Goalies at all levels, to say Dave is passionate about the position is an understatement. Currently on staff at the University of Pennsylvania, Dave was a HS All-American, 3x All-NCAC and Runner Up for Conference Player of the Year in his time at Kenyon College. Dave experienced success as a player, and has spent the past 9 years trying to impart his knowledge and experience to other young goalies, working with Youth goalies who are new to position all the way up through prepping College grads for their MLL/Pro tryouts.
At the College level, his goalies have earned All-Centennial recognition 6 times, 3 All-American awards, and in 2016 Brian Neff was named the Centennial Conference player of the year during Dave's time coaching at Ursinus College, prior to his current stint with UPenn. With his work as a Director with The Goalie School, private trainees in the Philadelphia area, and in his work with local Youth, Club and High School organizations, Dave has coached over 1,500 in the past ten years.
In addition to his current role at UPenn, Dave is the Director of HEADstrong Quaker Lacrosse Club, Director for Young Quakers Lacrosse and helps to run the Urban Lacrosse Jamboree in Philadelphia. Dave currently lives in Havertown, PA with his wife Julia and their dog, Abe.
